A while back I was lamenting about my Christmas Cactus not blooming EVER.
Now it is loaded with blooms.
Sits in the same place as usual.
Gets watered same as usual.
Go Figure.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Congratulations on that!
Early last month, I bought a Thanksgiving Cactus at the market because Walmart was out of them. It had several nice blooms, so I gave it a prime spot just away from a window, turning it every few days to even up the sun.. Then I found out they dont like to be moved, and I'm still trying to get the watering right as it's in the original Nursery Mix..
Probably the most finicky plant I own.. or maybe owns me!
I'm sure I'll be bugging Shawn for help as soon as it gives me more problems..

Glad your cactus bloomed Sierra. I love all cacti and have none!

Good to hear your cactus bloomed. I've had 2, and neither survived. I think I overwatered the first, and didn't give the second one enough sun maybe... It was years ago. I do great with most other plants, but I never got one of those to work out.
Merry Christmas to all who are celebrating it.

They are pretty aren't they when they bloom. (sigh)
Coffee grounds were added to the soil. Must have been good for it.
Happy New Year every body!!!
