I did. I am also a card carrying member of the Church of Satan. But ive moved on. It is a good philosophy when you boil down to it i just dont have it in me to be such a hedonist.

Crowleys already credited with being the creator of thelema and the father of the modern occult.
I have several of Crowleys books and despite it being a bit hard to read, due to being in letter form.
Majic without tears is probably my favorite.

I was a facebook admin of two pages for LaVeyanism. One for Canada and one that was basically global/ lots of USA members. then it kinda got taken over by atheist/ halfways.
Joining is still an interest of mine, I'm not satisfied with the nonpolitical effort going on. The defense of marriage thing could easily have been resolved if Gilmore would address the creationists for omitting Lilith from their babble. I'm not hear to say that LaVey should directly be demanding gay marriage; COS should be demanding a Federal Civil Union for all Citizens so that lazy christians aren't sitting around as though they practice their dogma. far from it.
Who knows the story of Medusa? So here's the thing. If we continue to associate with Satanism it should really get a Nu Name. ' Hadesism, or something other than the term Satan. it means opposer and accusor: it was given from the perspective of the opponent. As we already know that Lilith would not accept subordinance Adam is a rapist and Lilith the judge of his crime. 'Shofetet'.the word for female judge. Neither Crowley or LaVey noticed this before mainstreaming the word Satan. Medusa was raped by the priest Poseidon ( not deity) and for not being a virgin she was treated as ugly. The story has been tainted of its truth. She was not Hexed into a gorgon. More likely she was cutting her wrists/face with depression since her goal in life service to her religion had ended involuntarily. I would guess she'd have been wrathful enough to look at the silent ditto heads /sheeple of the town that would not help her or believe her charges against Poseidon.

Earlier than Marduk was a comparable unisex Deism nammed Nammu: the male and female were Absu and UmmuHabor. If there's a point in keeping history around , might as well keep the most traditional one. I found this searching for the causes of eating disorders. The fact that we separate ourselves by dogma the way christians do is sad. We are 1, united in the same sadness, and trying endlessly to show the truth without persicution. When I talk about Satan, I am pushed aside. When I am not in the room, my peers fear and abuse my name. And we thought the public beating had gone out of fasion...

Anton LaVey is a joke. I'm very into demonology hence my user name azazel but lavey is like any other organized religion out for the fame and money. I mean his book was published by f**king Avon of all things. I also used study the vampire Bible which very repetitive about how they are above the food chain lol.

that's something that's f**ked up here.
christians can go in the atheist's forum and here. nobody but people with christian as they're religion on their profile can go in the christian group.
I go to the religion forum mostly cuz its general religion and open to anyone.
plus it moves way faster with multiple, active threads to post in.
all the christians there are met with disgust cuz the non christians outnumber them.
it might be in some forum lists and not others if u can't find it there might be a link on my profile.
if u go there click add favorite.
if u don't like it u can always delete it from favorites easily.
