Those that I see in a different light I hug full on & usually add a light kiss on the cheek or neck.

Mostly agree, but sometimes you don't have time to turn your head and end up being kissed. I think if there are repeated kisses and plans to see each other again, that means more.

Oh, I'm very well mannered. Usually I don't do hugs with women because of the high potential of sexual harassment, assault etc. I watch their lead. If they leaning in for a hug, I'm always positioned to turn sideways and put my one of my arms behind their back and lean in slightly with a hug. That's it.

Not at all. I give out hugs to both guys and girls. No sideways hugs, thats just weird/awkward and is very impersonal (especially to those you are close with). I'm not implying anything more, all it means is that I appreciate them and am happy to see them or wish them the best as they leave.

I think you may be trying to read to much into things. If you are just meeting a person and they give you a hug at all consider yourself lucky. Not all women want to hug someone that they are just meeting. Others are willing to give a simple friendship type hug (or the side hug) because maybe they are unsure of where the whole thing might lead. The answer is...it all depends on that ONE person and how they view the style of hug.

A sideway hugs to me seems to send a message that you do not care for the person because you are barely touching them.
A full frontal hug gives the impression that you are happy to see the person and not hesitant to show affection towards them.
That's my opinion though it can be something different for someone else

Well I do admit, I learn something about hugging. To some women, it means something the way they hug you or let men hug them.
What I can conclude, there is no general consensus if a woman hug you frontal or sideways, to mean anything concrete.
