The lemon juice has a natural sugar base which will leave a residue which attracts bugs.

diamentous earth, it is natural but when it rains you will have to apply it, I put it on my patio to keep fleas away and it works. Go do a look up on it online, I buy it from my local agway store I know I misspelled it, sorry about it.

ive found vinegar, white distilled, mixed with water wrks wonders for all critters. Vinger whitens and brightens! My thing is ants! This is their time of yr and they think they own my yard n bathroom! I pour straight vingar down drains, around the base of house, and across window sills and doorways and anywhere i see the ants go marching in hurrah!!! But dont pour it anywhere near flowers boxes, it totally kills flowers and it takes a yr or so before ya can grow anything in that spot again!! Oh n like cup sed anything woth lemon in it with actually draw them. I had pest control deal with ants my first summer in my home they were so bad. He sed to use straight bleach or vinegar in the warm months cuz scented stuff like lemon, lavender even pinesol will draw critters in. I usta use organge scented bleach wipes in the bathroom and ohmygosh! Ifn i charged em rent i wuda been the richest girl on the planet! Yeah straight plain bleach n vinegar. Pest dude sed bleach will help kill em too.

if all else fails, make some sort of hot sauce u would have to request assistance from the local swat team or military to cook indoors. i could bareley stand cooking habaneros; add a couple ghost peppes u got a bet for a repellant. i only had a few ants and they ran like crazy from my habanero garlic concoction outside

rethink your approach. there isnt to my knowledge a 1 shot kills or repells all safely approach. many things that work for 1 type of bug might not work for another. i use two approaches for my garden,

Borox acid was the most common to use for roaches but the last time I used some-did not do the job it use to do.A key thing with spiders is vacume the webs and not let them web outside the house or inside.Check all furniture underneath-They will move-and 7 dust does kill spiders also.darker the place a web is could be a brown laquoose-do not need them around.I have to find out what is being used here-I have not seen, not one bug since I moved in-(Has been a month)and did not bring any with me=A happy.-bought some bug spray just in case-but have not had a reason to use.I am impressed,For me and buggies do not get along.

My very safe insect repellant is to take a recycled spray bottle ( apprx. 1 qt. size) and put in about a teaspoon of Murpheys Oil Liquid, Tablespoon of rubbing alcohol, teaspoon of baking soda, and fill with water. Shake and it's ready to use. Works great on mealy bugs, and spider mites. The thing is you need to keep at it. This stuff is safe, so spray the plants that have bugs every other day or maybe every few days until they look like the bugs are under control. After that, make a point of checking the plants often to make sure they aren't re-infesting. Some plants have leaves that are difficult to get the spray all over, so take care that you do, including the. Stems and even the top of the soil.

First put in blender, a full head or two of garlic ( peal it first ) and one strong large hot onion in a blender and then add several tablespoons of " cyan pepper powder" aka 'capsicum'< ( buy in bulk at health store)
Blend well in a blender at high speed for 5 to 10 minutes and then strain the liquid and put the liquid in a jug and mix whats called "Green safers Soap' or "Murpheys Oil Liquid soap" a few tablespoons will do, and stir well and genitally ( don't want to make lots of suds) and then put in a spray bottle 50/50 with mixed with water and spry on top and bottoms of leaves.

I usually have a plant about every 6 to 10 feet, for some reason bugs don't like them.
Kind of brightens up the garden !!
