Never seen one of those books in my store... very likely on the website though.
Only thing I've ever made with it was boffer swords.
Also marshmallow launchers are generally made of PVC fittings as well.

There is a lawn game, where you toss bean bags on to pvc pipe. Called something like texas horseshoes.

Use them to bury weapons and ammo. Food also. Thats real big in michigan for decades. Dont forget to rotate your stock!

As long as you watch the weight baring,just about anything.All kinds of shelves,tv stands,imagination is about the limit.To help start there is alot of books on the subject,amazon,lowes,even if you have a good library near ya.

Bow & Arrow, it's easy to make with a little heat and some twine and they can work surprisingly well, it's fairly easy, should find a bunch of youtube videos on it.

Furniture. For a table, use PVC for the base and top with with glass. This can be patio furniture or kitchen and living room.

Dang...some great ideas here.
Mine is just making my own curtain rods, I spray them with light tan color then rub wood stain on them to make them look like real wood. Easy & people are surprised its just pvc pipe...lol

Just saw a door wreath made from PVC pipe. It Rocked. Also, saw a stacked wine rack made of pvc pipe. Just make sure to get the correct width pipe.

I always made pneumatic (compressed air) potato cannons. No combustibles and had a greater pressure, like almost 3 times the pressure behind the projectile (110 PSI compared to the average 35 that you get with combustibles.) Just make sure that you get the proper schedule PVC for the pressure that you are wanting to get. We have launched a potato at a tree and ripper the bark clean off of it where it hit.
There are also TONS or PVC projects on a website called Instructables and even has complete instructions and materials lists of what you need to make it.

Why don't you drill holes in the pvc pipe and run a string of lights through it you can always paint the pipe what ever color you want

When I was poor and and couldn't afford a boat. I made a raft out of 6" PVC pipe. 8' X 10' capped of the ends of 15 joints of pipe and made a frame out of 2 X 4 studs to secure them all together. Had a little trolling motor than moved it along quiet well and the raft held me and another friend of mine. If you can find it, they now make PVC pipe up to 24" diameter and 30' long. That would make a pretty nice pontoon boat!
