I appreciate those who quote the Bible to stave off same-sex marriage, such as Leviticus 18:22, which states it is "abomination" to "lie with a man as one lies with a woman". I now need advice on how to follow some other Bible laws.
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery,as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. What would be the fair price?
My neighbor insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
Leviticus 25:44 states that I may own slaves, male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring countries. A friend claims that this applies to Mexicans but not to Canadians. Why can't I own Canadians?
Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including their temples, even though this is expressively forbidden by Leviticus 19:27. How should they die?
I have so many more things I'm unclear on. I'm thankful, though, that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

You are the only one who knows "that"....since everybody is convinced the Argentinians are all of Italian descendant; trust me, the Argentinians are a mix of everything....and the Italians in my country are northerners.

While the Italian immigration was significant during the first part of the XX century the Spaniard was a lot more numerous. We can't overlook, either, the immigration from the rest of Europe before and after the two WW.
Additionally, regardless of the parents' country every person born in Argentina is Argentinian...the Constitution says so; this is known as the "concept of the land".
I make a point not to deal with Argentinians.

The bible and religion is like pro wrestling 100% FAKE!!! The bible is fictional! It truly is not the word of god it is the word of men who were uneducated sheep hearders! I was forced to go through K-12 grade prochial school and listen to there lie's and intimidation's!!!! Most christians only say there christian when they want something but in private they are the total oppiciate!!

How dare you say anything bad about the bible? Why, it's just a beautifully crafted fairy tale absolutely perfect for traumatizing young children into doing whatever they're told as long as you say "god says so."

I'm new to this forum, man I laugh pretty good. Carina11 I know it's hard to believe as they say. We as the over 50 crowd give the geniuses of our time and before to be our example of what the word of god is saying, then yes we are way off track. I'm going back too your reference of the scripture lev. 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination. I know what they state but if you are studied, you would know mankind in this scripture mean to remember me. In the presence of god everything else falls to the second level when mention . symbolized as the woman or womankind. It's the same as in the beginning. Eat from this tree and live eat from the other and die. The womankind is the other tree. The symbolism of them leaving Egypt is as a man speaking to his wife. I will except you back but don't come back trying to do the same over here as you did over their with the other. The people had forgotten the Elohim we no longer remembered him. As of today. You just can't, to many lies have been told pertaining to the creator. I heard a pastor say once we don't keep the word to the letter of the word but to the spirit of the word. That told me a lot, We still can't read it. I say why not. Just stud. Yes I agree the bible is written and taught very demonic. It's a lie If you have any questions, I would be glad to answer. That's not about a man sleeping with a man. The greatest lie, you do understand if you tell a child not to touch that stove it's hot most still do. Imagine how many things in your life you have learned about, it's all the much more you have heard about even know it or they exist. Not on your mind at all. It's the same as teaching what we are taught pertaining to that scripture. Imagine if it was never spoken.

The thing is, you can't say "Gods word is absolute" in one breath, then
say "well we don't really follow those scriptures" in the next.
Or, you can't really say "That's the old Testament, and we don't really follow that".
then stick to things like creationism and the ten commandments. (as well as other things
that are in the old and not the new)
The excuse "you have to be a Christian to understand" won't fly either.
That's nothing more than rationalizing your cherry picking the scriptures to suite
your own hypocrisy.
