Just because a date is good doesn't mean it lasted or is serious. I have made great friends out of some of the dates I have had. Just not right for each other. Sometimes people cross your path multiple times just as friends nothing more.

Yep...it can happen. I had a profile on here for a bit last Fall and met a couple of really nice guys. Seems like it's similar to meeting guys otherwise...gotta muddle through the bad ones to find the good ones...but it's worth it. Keep at it!

She turned out to be an awesome amazing incredible woman, more so than any profile could have ever accurately described. I had a great time, so great that I didn't even care about the $48 parking ticket I got for not reading what time they stop monitoring the meters in Huntington Beach. Meeting her would have been worth ten parking tickets!

Yes, I thought I'd hit the jackpot when I met him for the first time! We got along great-super chemistry, it was the first time I'd opened myself up to anyone on this site and it was better than I'd hoped for. It sounds like you dodged the bullet with that one. so what if your Ex-boyfriend is making car payments to you. It's obviously for a car...Not sex. Why should that be an issue, unless you still have feelings for him or wanting to date him again.
Who, what or when you do, before we met is past history. Everyone has one. It's really none of my business. What matters is who, what or when you do AFTER we're together.

I talked to this great guy (I thought)non-stop for 3 days straight and asked him if he wanted to meet for a quick meet and greet after I got off of work that night. Just an hour, a couple of drinks and good conversation. He seemed excited. Didn't hear from him for a while that day and then he responded he had been busy at work and we were still on. I got off of work, sent him a text to make sure we were still on because it was around 10 pm didn't hear back from him, went to where we were going to meet and sent another text saying I was going to drink a beer and if he hadn't showed I was gone. No show...no contact. Straight Stood up. Next morning I get a text from him that says: "Because I didn't want or need you upset. Sorry" then I get, "Please know that do truly love loving you Vicki" Couple of problems with this: 1) I hadn't meet the man in person yet so I know he hasn't loved loving me and 2) My name's not Vicki.
Why do people do this crap? Just be an adult and say I can't make it, I'm not ready to meet you or better yet I'm just a player.
