BACKGROUND:
The K.C. Mo people have been holding this event the past 5 years. Two years ago a group of us from the Omaha area decided to join them and a new tradition was born! That first year we had 8 from Omaha, last year around 15. It is a great time to let your hair down, enjoy nature, play games and meet new people. We are hoping more from the Omaha area will attend this year and we can keep this tradition growing into an amazing event!
DAY ACTIVITIES:
For the people that like to fish there are two ponds to fish. Stocked with catfish, bass and crappie.
Bring games, both outdoor and board or cards.
Napping, drinking, talking, hiking, sunbathing are all other great activities for the day!
EVENING ACTIVITIES
There will be a campfire Friday evening bring your hot dogs and etc. and join us at the campfire.
All fires must be in a fire pit or on gravel
We will be having a pot luck dinner Saturday evening at 5:30 pm
Each person should bring a side dish and their own meat for grilling. Grills and charcoal will be available.
This is also a BYOB event whatever you choose to drink, soda, beer, water, whatever. Alcohol is allowed at this campground.
Breakfast will be available for purchase at the kitchen area from the park owner.
(Reasonable price)
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Everyone is responsible for their own sleeping arrangements. RV's, Campers and tents are all welcome. Every pad has electricity.
You will need to bring your own food and cooking/cleaning supplies, we often share side dishes at meals but that is not always the case. It is 30 miles from St. Jo and 20 miles from Maryville.
You will need your own personal items as well. The campground has showers but you provide the rest.
Dogs are welcome but all dogs must be kept on leash!!!
