Slightly off topic. Wayne Carini from Chasing Classic Cars called me up one day. I had no idea who he was at the time. He asked if I knew anything about classic Ferraris and if I wanted to wrench on a few. I kinda shit myself a bit and said I really didn't have any knowledge of them. About a year later I saw the show, noticed the his shop is about 10 minutes from mine, and once again shit myself realizing the chance to restore some of the rarest classics on earth had just passed me by. I'm still working up the courage to call him back.

But I still know nothing about quarter million dollar classic Italians. I guess I wouldn't hurt to stop by the shop "as a fan of the show".

Aptitude sometimes means a lot. That is your ability to learn; and your willingness. But if you don't try you certainly will not get the job.

Nothing to loose, and a possible gain. I don't see why you are still here trying to decide.

I'm more into classic/modern hybrid cars (some of you probably don't like that lol). My dream classic car would be a '70's Nissan skyline or 280z with a rb or ls1 engine.

Hybrids are cool, but they can be built better. The Edison Battery lasts for about 100 years, with a disposal impact that is relatively small.

this for the guy about the classic Ferraris, do as she says, don't worry about it just think of it like this, a Ferrari is an Italian Corvette, and a Corvette Is an American Ferrari. I detail classic & cars exotic cars all the time, they may seem intimidating at first but you can't let them scare you. after all it's just a piece of metal with wheels and a motor. sometimes fiberglass.
besides with you got to lose? besides your breath, lol

Also weigh more than X2 as much than a regular battery too. I know toyota for a fact build their hybrid a little too well as it is. I've been seeing 200k and up mileage on them with same battery and no extra maintenance :-/. hell the freaking power inverter go out before the damn battery.

Good luck finding a 67 to 72 Ford. Especially the short beds. I have a 68, see previous page for a picture of it.

I Like the 8ft long bed better myself in the 67 to 72 ford range. These vehicles have more highway control and are majestic dressed up. Now my 98 dodge ram sticks out gloriously with a 6 ft bed but its extended cab makes it long and graceful looking with very good hwy stability
