When can you prune a rose of sharon? Should it be dormant or is it ok to now?

Rose of sharon should be pruned in spring after you see new growth. Especially if you want it to grow out and up.

What to do with the area next to the house? Seems the dandilions get rooted right next to the foundation and they are a pain to dig out!

Dandelion leaves can only be eaten in the early spring.
Dandelion is tap-rooted. To hand-pull it you need to grab it by the neck, which is just slightly below the ground

PLEASE see the pics in my thread about my peach tree and that awful beetle?I do have pics there.How can I save my fruit trees?Also,geraniums...where are the seed to be found?Is there a heartier species of bug repellant plant that won't die in the winter if not brought inside?
