used too loved hearing the dogs run track and tree it was nice my dad and i never missed open season until he passed but used to love listening to blueticks when they hunt

Never hunted coons with hounds but have trapped a few, doing wildlife management to reduce the numbers to prevent deseise from over population and predation

coon are harvested for there fur and can be great table fare, depending on what they feed on,,, if a coon gets good feed you have good coon if they eat alot of garbage and rotten fish then not so good

i love coon hunting.....
redbones
blueticks
mt.curr
and walker dogs...
every once in a while youll get some dumb a** dogs that will run deer and rabbits on ya...get rid of them fast......
labor day weekend im allways at kenton ohio......what an awasome place to pick up some good dogs and guns

I have a black n tan btch probably the best dog I've ever had so far shes 5yrs old now. No trash. My buddy has a red bone hes pretty good also and a hella pair. My other friends now have black n red bones lol
