Dont get me wrong, I love sex and all but its so much better when there are emotions and it has meaning and not just a one night fling. What ever happened to gettin to know someone and having a meaningful relationship b4 sex. Sex is Gods gift to people in a committed relationship. Thats y its better when it has meaning and emotions. Thoughts?

absolutely agree!!!! I was married 12 years. after my divorce i have had sex with a few guys and wasn't able to climax with any of them. i just couldn't. there is no passion and romance anymore. what happened to getting to know each other. sending flowers or little love notes and pet names. now right out the gate guys go "Hey sexy, send me some pics." Or when can we hookup. so far i have met one really great guy. hes sweet, funny and hasn't made inappropriate comments or wanted nude pics. sad tho only 1 out of over 100 guys. sorry this response is so long, kinda got carried away. lol!!!!!

Heck ya. No junk I have the same problem o girl had except I just lose interest in the middle. Just don't feel right u know. I was pretty much with last girl for 10 years.. Did the family thing..I tryed gettin on that Viagra pill but the doc said I was way to young for them issues... Like 5 months now bein single n had 1 girlfriend.. We ain't gettin along cause that.. I Gota wait about a week

I can see the argument on both sides. Personally I choose not to have sex with anyone Im not in a relationship with first. But I can actually see how its a placebo effect. In your mind, its someone you care about, Its someone you feel close to, it feels right in a sense.
In the end I think its all kind of based on perspective. Some people can have sex with others without a relationship status and they like it just fine. Others are just a little more old fashioned and prefer to keep emotions and a relationship in the mix.
Personally I just prefer the relationship route because placebo or not It just means more to me when Im in a relationship. Plus on a moral level I just dont feel right sleeping with someone I dont at least love. But morals are also entirly based on personal perspective. so... To each his/her own I suppose?

Why should I avoid sex if I don't want a relationship? I'm human, and I'll always have needs. Is it so wrong to tell somebody up front that I'm not in a place where I want a relationship, but I'm so horny I can't think, so let's screw?

Casual is fine for some,and gives them what they think they need.can not knock their point of view.For me;I prefer it to be special.Most people would never buy a thing they don't want to keep;Why would you go to bed with someone you wouldn't want to wake up next to?

I agree to have that one that gets you there each time you dip between the sheets .. Is a wonderful thing...
But I do know when a man knows how to touch a woman in way that here body is made to feel like the main subject of focus.. Touching ever curve and spot that makes her tangle. A woman need to feel desired, wanted, make your hands talk to her body till the hair rises on her neck ... She will get there her body will talk back to you like only a woman body knows how to speak ... Mmm

I have to say that in the past 13 years I have slept with no one.... I have raised my kids and that is where I spent my time.....
Not that I have not thought about it.... I am a man and I am human.... but it was a choice I made and stuck with it...
I am personally looking for a relationship... I want to be with that one person and share intimacy ....It is just who I am.... no one is wrong here... it it personal preference ... but after all this time...I do hope I find that special some one.....soooon......lol
