No, you are not wrong, there are scammers, and players, and the short time I've been on, this site, has been an experience! I even had one, play me up, say he was coming from another state, to meet me, and it was a 'player!' Once I suspect, I question and inform them I know what's going on, and stop chatting with them! It's really 'sick' for people to do this! And, most don't want a permanent stable relationship, just 'hookup sex'

You're going to find those kind of people anywhere, not just here on this site. I think many think we're easy pickings, and want to prey on our supposed vulnerability.
It's sad, but I guess it's a fact of life. We just have to get better at discerning it before we get hurt.
In defense of men here, I've met quite a few good ones. They're around.

It seems most of you stereotype men, and make sure you find the negatives. You should focus on yourself, just think if you only picked at the bad stuff about yourself. The whole sex thing gets me, if we even bring it up then we are quickly classified as "That's all he wants" this is so wrong. I believe it is only smart to discuss sex early on; making sure that you are sexually compatible is the most important thing for long term success. I've found women in my age range enjoy the newness, enjoy sex for about a year, but after that it changes. I'm a nice guy and we finish last; however thanks to this site I have found an amazing woman and I feel great about our future, because we have talked about how we are for the long run right from the start.
