Went to a fancy dance years ago and the women had a card with the numbers of all the dances on it.The men would ask for a dance and she would put his name on the card for a certain dance.

Sorry to say Fish but Wilbur passed away over a year ago.I had him cremated and have the ashes in a urn in the corner cupboard where i can see them.He was old like us and had heart problems,had to give him four pills a day.
I got another dog from the local action for animals.His name is chad and he is just like the hound dog in Elvis's song.

in another week it'll be fried green tomatoes time again , if they are to small to slice , then chop up in quarters , add chopped onions , tiny new spuds quartered , sweet peppers chopped , fry in bacon grease , when spuds are done tender , remove from heat & drain off excseibve fat ,serve with hot buttered corn bread & a splash of cider vinegar on the skillet dish ingredients ,

I spent yesterday afternoon looking back to when the 70,s started, So many names that you don't ,see anymore.and thy just dissaperd, also many threads started but so few got very far, we seem to have a great group of people here, who have fun in the group,I for one feel like I have a wonderful bunch of cyber friends, all with different personalties, which makes for deversity, I don't have as the kids say, street smarts, but the internet has made me more out going,and not a wall flower. Just hed to unload today, and YOU cyber friends are always here!

We play concert band music (all kinds) at community events, retirement homes, church events,etc. We have an upcoming gig at the Dixie Classic Fair in October on Senior Day. Today we are playing at Arbor Acres, a UMC retirement community. Our program for today

My high school class just had our 55th. I've been to a couple, but most of the time I go to the ones for the class I was with from grade 4 to grade 11 as I know more of them. I transferred between my junior and senior year and graduated with the kids I started school with, but didn't really get to know them again in just one year. Maybe I'll go next year as the class has started meeting every year now. I enjoyed the ones I attended.
