I went to the West Indian Social Club in Hartford once and there was a shooting in that neighborhood the same night I was there. And I went to a kompa/zouk nite at a nightclub in Bridgeport and I got to see just how ghetto some of the Bridgeport neighborhoods are. East Hartford's Burnside Avenue is classic ghetto but there are sexy hot lookin Ghanaian, Jamaican, Puerto Rican, Salvadoran, and Peruvian women walking down the street there. So despite that avenue's ugly ghettoness, there's some true beauty there from West Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America!

A few years back, I was talking with a lady on the Quest Chatline who worked in the Greenwich school system. She said that many of the students in the elementary school she worked at came from a tough neighborhood in Greenwich. Go figure!
