When someone who you have had no problems with all of a sudden blocks you from posting to any of the threads that they created, I have been on this site for a long time and that's never happened to me before especially from someone who I thought was somewhat of a friend....hmmmmm???? I don't understand, but I don't really care either...just find it odd Oh and maybe annoying...lol

I'd bin with Safeco fer a number a years... Home, auto, mc, boat, trailer, etc so forth an so on policies...
Butt the last few years I noticed the premiums goin' up, just after Safeco was purchased by Liberty Mutual...
So I called ta fine out why, an this is what the young soundin' voice on the other end tole me... Butt prolly shouldn' have...
She said, an yer gonna love this'n... 'We'... meanin' Liberty Mutual... 'have to pay fer all the natural disasters throughout the country'... Of witch there have bin an inordinate amount lately...
I said... 'WE'??? Oh no, not 'WE', butt 'YOU'... Why should I, here at the Shores, have ta pay ta pump flood water outta soup's smelly basemint room in his mom's house???
No way hose A!!!  Cancel my policy, witch included my mc an trailer, so they did, butt...
Here's where it gits really good... 
They immediately raised my homeowner's policy... So, I canceled that too witch included my boat, etc so forth an so on... 
I called AARP... I'm now with the Hartford. Same coverage as with Safeco on all policies, an I'm savin' over half what I was payin'...
So, if'n ya don' wanna pay ta pump flood water outta soup's smelly basemint room... Switch ta the Hartford...
Look at me. Do I look like a noid???

Probably the same block/unblock person who does that to so many. I finally got tired of that game and blocked back. I could understand if adversarial posting relationship..but wasn't the case. I can't imagine anyone needing nor wanting to block you, a peaceful, nice poster.
Shame on them. You'll probably be unblocked by that person in a few days to 2 wks. That's the m.o. I saw happen to me.

A new thing I noticed going on now on DH...guys trying to talk and ask for your email address or phone number, you here from them maybe once or twice just enough to verify your number is right...then you get a bunch of emails or calls from all kinds of places trying to sell you crap. That annoys the hell out of me. I don't give out my phone number or email often but the last 2 times this has happened and that makes it harder to trust anyone....why do people do things like that on a dating site????

If you look at the profiles and formats, they seem to all be similar as well as the messages, almost like they're bots. I've had several women message me in that manner giving their e-mail address and wanting me to respond. If they were really legit, then 9 times out of 10, they would chat right here on DH several times as opposed to trying to get personal information. So I mark them as fake profiles or scammers.

Ordering your food (especially at a fast food drive through) and then they start their sales pitch for everything on the menu.
Also, go through the line at the Dollar General or such place and be asked if you'd like to leave your change for some organization. These places donate your money and take it off their taxes as if it's their money.
