The girl I worked with brought some venison to all the dinners. Mostly in a stew or slow cooked . Never had the stakes. Dad made us try all kinds of stuff from his adventures. Love fish mostly.

Left over Potatoes Augratin (small portion) and a mug of turkey vegetable soup. This was made from the Thanksgiving turkey remains and is the first batch thawed out post Thanksgiving.

My dad was a fisherman. He would not eat ones dead long before cleaning. He kept them in a live box till we got back to land.

I cut the zuke slices into fours and steam, then add it to the sauce... yes, its very good. I like to puree eggplant and add it sometimes too.

After double wrapping the water pipes , Im hoping another pipe doesn't freeze up. ugh.

Real butter , garlic , pepper , broil and fresh lemon over it straight out the oven.
Same for the shrimp on the stove top. with hush puppies on the side. Personally I like to use the grill for both.
Its offical..getting hungry now LOL!

There ya go. Just a little bit of crushed seasoned croutons on top added to the halibut will add some flavor , and some texture. Ill be looking tomorrow night to see how it turned out. 
I love cooking and I used to work as a prep cook at the Don Cesar Clearwater Beach fl back in my younger days.
