Perhaps a parallel thread from people from other places than America itself could lend a voice to the rest of the people in the world.
Two party system?
Only rich country whose citizens don't believe in universal health care?
The expenditures on the Military compared to education?
The unbridled capitalism and the bank failures that bankrupt home owners?
No jail time for the architects of the crash or illegal wars?
Arming teachers in the schools while removing prayer from the schools?
There should be lots of topics for contentious arguments.
D
Keep it fun - try to only poke a stick into ONE eye - not BOTH.

Fairs fair...
I've got a salty little Jewish Italian lawyer cousin, now that's a mouthful eh? ha ha ha ha ha
He blew his copier out downloading the Health care law....ha ha ha ha
Least I should do is read it. All 2000 pages, right?
So, sorry I don't think many that DO want national health care can or should speak too much bout it till they do read it.
It isn't lookin too good.
So he says.
You know those Italians, pretty smart.....
Ciao' baby

Dear brothers and sisters, the Ascension does not indicate the absence of Jesus, but tells us that He is alive among us in a new way; He is no longer in a definite place in the world as He was before the Ascension; He is now in the lordship of God, present in all space and time, next to each of us. We are never alone in our lives: We have this advocate who waits for us, we are never alone, ??the Crucified and Risen Lord guides us, and with us there are many brothers and sisters who in silence and obscurity, in their family life and work, in their problems and difficulties, their joys and hopes, live their faith every day and, together with us, bring to the world the lordship of God's love. ~ Pope Francis, April 17, 2013 Audience
Your dear heart may find the relevancy of this, as did mine. There really are no borders within 'the' Kingdom but since man has created them there are those individuals that will strive for the Common Good proclaiming His love along the way.
