Got on my knees and scrubbed 1/2 a floor, bending stretching into corners of far reaching places. Picked up laundry from floor, danced with a swiffer mop. the dogs laughed as I did the twist outside while filling up their water bowl. Now me and the refrigerator kick plate are gonna take a shower before I have to leave to go get more art supplies at Michael's. I'm trying to win the Betty Crocker housekeeper award. LMAO

That's great. If you arent in pain, then yes. I tried lunges once and couldn't even walk the next day. I was going for a bike ride, but it's raining. Oh well, I have plenty of art projects to finish before the 27th due date.

Today was the hockey tailgate. Hours of climbing ladders and hanging decorations and going floor to floor carrying supplies. My feet hurt so much and we lost the game in the last few minutes when the other team scored and broke the tie

... one need not 'slip' to break a hip ... it is possible for the bone to just snap on its own without any outside force being applied.
Today ... I moved my body in various ways. The rain kept me from walking (don't want to chance catching pneumonia in December, again) but I walked many laps indoors.

Every year about this time I get out the ol body flex tapes (yep, VCR) and use this to tone up and get ready for my winter job...12 hours a day for a couple of months.

Total calorie count burn 1432
Heart rate 145-170 zone
Then back to gym around 3:30 for a 1.5 mile swim and 30 more mins of running stairs and lifting legs today.

I had a snowball fight with my daughter and my boyfriends three kids yesterday. We built forts and fought to attack each other and knock down each others forts. My daughter, being the youngest, destroyed both forts by diving on them.

one of my fav games. Well, I tried to join, but my son shooed me away. LOL. But he sure appreciated the fort I helped build. Today I walked the dog. I need to go back to sleep though because I got up waaaay too early. Lots of errands to run still, so I might as well stay awake.

I did a 15 minute office desk workout and walked to the 9th floor and back down at work today.
I also made sure to drink more water and get more fruits and veggies today.

i already take a multi vitamin that has a lot of vitamin C in it... and studies haven't PROVEN that it's helped anything ... taking excess vitamin c is kind of silly anyways, it's water soluable, any extra you take, you piss out anyways.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an essential nutrient. Still, it's possible to have too much vitamin C.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that supports normal growth and development. Vitamin C also helps your body absorb iron. Because your body doesn't produce or store vitamin C, it's important to include vitamin C in your diet. saturday - ran 5.5 miles (even with the tail end of bronchitis) worked and logged a little over 5 miles at work according to my fitbit
sunday - went grocery shopping (walked aimlessly through the store), worked for 1.5 hours, then did 4 hours of laundry/sorting/emptying out drawers, vacuumed, and then did about 30 minutes of abs and work with the resistance band

I hear ya. My gym is more free weights than machines.
I was going to suggest throwing in a day or 'crossfit style training'. With free weights. Less weight, higher reps. Aim for 100 reps of each. Also you can mimic the Les Mills BODY PUMP class. With less weight you don't need a spotter.
Improved balance muscles, you also statically work leg muscles when doing standing curls, etc.
This will help improve your muscles endurance, which is much needed for the warrior dash. Trust me on this. I wish I would have done that.

Weak forearms?
I just use the dumbbells. I'm up to 10 pounds. I do an arms Lift set of 10. Legs set of 10 and alternate til I have 10 sets of 10 each
Curl
Dead lift
Press
Tricep drop behind head
Row
Bent over tricep straightening arm behind
Squat
Left leg lunge
Right leg lunge
Calf drop/raise
One leg teeter/totter (back and leg that goes back stay straight as a board pivot at hip)
Other leg teeter totter
Then I use one dumbbell to do 'around the world' with legs wide to work abs. I do the weighted lean. I do the kettle bell between the legs then straighten up to go behind head. I'll do the seated bicycle with the weight. The weighted crunch.

I don't use the kettle bell. I use one dumbbell held in both hands.
Are you at the gym to impress people? No. You're there for you. Let them look at you funny. They're the meat head zombies who do what everyone else does, no?
I like to do a squat and at the top do an overhead press.
With my lunges I like to do curls.
Do both exercises at the same time. Saves time. Keeps your body 'guessing' and really improved my stability and balance after the car wreck.

At first I went at weird times when not so many people were there. Mid morning. Much later at night. Until I got comfortable doing what I wanted to do. Now I just say f**k em. I'm in better shape than half the meat heads. And the gym skanks who pretend to workout to flirt look at me dirty no matter what.

HIIT, Spin, Pilates. Total time 2.5 hours also Abe work
Tonight weights arms and chest and basketball
Later today in my triathlon bike for a 35-40 mile ride. Heart rate between 120-131 to burn more fat than cardio training did Cardio with HIIT this morning
