People are so afraid of things they don't understand. People make animals meaner than they need to be or are naturally. It's a shame.

You do not see abused parrots on danger lists and truth is the smaller parrots such as amazons bite down with 300 lbs of pressure.

They may look like they are small and couldn't do damage but I have seen an abused fearful orange wing literally take a man's entire hand off in two chomps.

Do not get me wrong I love all animals and trust me I did Not feel bad for this man.

You can not torture something and not expect it to be withdrawn or attack.

Larger parrots can and have been known to bite down with up to 600lbs of pressure.


Most do not do these things in malice.

What scares people about Rotts is that they have the power and they mouths are so massive.

The breed is noted to have a high prey drive and pack mentality.So are my breeds.This can be a great quality or a disaster waiting to happen.That , public misinformation and misconceptions are what give them their bad reps..anytime a powerful animal is in the "care" of the wrong PEOPLE trouble will soon ensue for both the poor animal as well as those vulnerible to when that animal acts out due to mishandling/treatment/and lack of socialization/training.Kc,you have always done such a wonderful job with your dogs they are the epitomy of what a "good dog" is expected to be.Well I have news for the world...there are no bad dogs...only bad owners.Be it their lack of understanding or outright stupidity or even evil nature,it is the human that creates the environment for bad things to happen.

Upom returning home I am pleased that everyone was fed and medicated as prescribed but none of the litter boxes have been scooped or cleaned.My house and both cat houses OMG!...the smell nearly knocked me back out the door.I have soo much scrubbing and cleaning to do.I can't have my house like that and will not subject these furkids to living in such filth.I paid good money for all the chores to be done while UI was gone so yeah,Im bent about it.Also,Ive rounded up most of the cats from the one cat house the storm blew the roof off of.Until they are spayed/neuetered nobody is allowed to free roam.Mercy and Strawberry have appt.s the 30th.Ive GOT to get these kitties "fixed" and adopted before Dad passes and all of their funding dries instantly up.I can not manage this many.

Let me know how you would feel about a dog that comes and attacks you when you're 12 and almost rips your leg off after it runs out from behind some bushes for no reason and you didn't even know the dog was there. You're laying on your back watching this dog throw you around like a rag doll and screaming for help with the only way for the dog to let go was to have some stranger kick him in the chest like he was trying to score a field goal from one end of a football field to the other because punching it in the face does nothing.

I have two rotties. The msle has short soft hair and the female has longer course hair.
Does anyone know why? Are they a different type from one another? I know the male is show material with bloodlines from russia and germany. The female has papers but Im not sure what her pedigree is yet.
