Depends on the circumstances, my daughter and I played a head to head game of Moo3 with the Tropical mod once for 12 hours straight. After that we played for maybe 2 hours a day for the next month, but her vacation was over by then and she had to leave.
I've played Warzone with my boss and that lasted 6 hours.
The very first mod I downloaded for Civ4 was Fall From Heaven 1.5 or something. I loaded it and before I even realized it 8 hours had passed.
Now, I've had a very intensive 8 hour stand off in paintball with the boss and 4 of her friends. That's a game- I got tired of them always ganging up on me so I turtled up and held them at off until they got mad and gave up. I won that one by default,,, mean b*tch shot me in the back later on when I was only wearing a t-shirt.

When I first got Metal Gear Solid 4. me and my best friend spent an entire night devoted to 100% completion. It was the first Metal Gear title he ever played, he's played through all of them repeatedly for weeks on end now xD

Straight? Not very long. Sometimes and hour or two. Usually as much as I would love to play a game for x amount of time straight I have too many other things to do. Dynasty Warriors probably takes the cake for time, since I can just pop those games in and mindlessly slaughter for a while

12 to 18 hours tops....it really depends on circumstances and my primary objective and what I'm going for. Some games I blast right though and some I really don't want to beat right away. Some games that I really I like I wanna take my time with to enjoy and not beat em too fast.

Depends,normal play for about a hour,if I get into it like playing online with friends then about 2 hours,if I'm doing something that takes a long time like hatching Shinies in Pokemon or trying to level up Pokemons to Lv100 then I can literally play for over 6 hours.

Which is kinda silly because I just get up go make a sandwich and then come back and keep playing.
To answer the OP. I just put about 40 hours into Saints Row the Third last week, so that's an average of like 6 hours a day.

I "could" play a long time, I guess, but the only long-ish games I play are Zelda games and I like stretching them out, so I try not to play over 2-3 hours per day, where it will last a long time. And I am really slow, slowly exploring areas, so I can many times get 100 hours out of a Zelda game!

speaking of getting lost on dungeons, I hate the stupid water temple on OoT. I don't think it's true you can get lost with now ay out, though. I thought I had been lost for good not able to get a key and I finally found some way to get it. And that actually happened on two different playthroughs. I remember people had claimed you could get to a point of it being impossible to get the key. Always possible there is a way to have that happen, but as lost as I got, I have a feeling my situation was the one people talked about.

At one time?
I use to go half or almost all day. But now any ware from 2, 3 to 4 hours, RPG's get the most time really I just don't have the time I used to.
Total hours played 600 hours. Now if I add all the elder scrolls games up it's 2750 hours at... I'm old =(

My dad, brother, cousin and myself were playing Far Cry 2 with custom made maps.
Time limit per map - 1 hour
Mode - Team Death Match
Score Limit - 25
We had fun but were wore out afterwards. Never did that again.

depends on the game.i can play payday 2 for hours on end.same with skyrim.most games though,maybe an hour,hour and a half.sometimes even less than 20 minutes

Depends on the game since if it's a game such as nba 2k and I'm not working, bored and have nothing to do prolly 3-5hours but if it's a game like final fantasy or a horror game like silent hill or dead space prolly an hour and 30 mins.
But most of the time gaming wise lol year round I play nba 2k and the cod series.
