Most of the guys in SCORE are well over the age of 65 and the vast majority of their experience is in management or accounting. I'm the youngest member at 50 and the only one whose background is in marketing and sales. I'm mainly doing this to get my bum out of the house and off the computer. This one horse town I live in has very few successful businesses since all of the manufacturers have closed shop and moved overseas. All we have left here are restaurants, medical facilities and auto malls. The smaller mom & pop places are gone and it's a shame.
