The vette actually ceased production in 1982 and started again in 84. Gm had worried that the demand wasnt there.

Also, radical design changes led to the failure to produce a viable prototype. This was when they were considering switching to a mid. engine rotary design.

Ford all the way if i chose only one,but i wouldn't mind owning a 69 chevelle,and a plymouth GTX,or a 70 hemi cuda.
Wouldn't trade a supercharged 2005 Ford GT for any car though.
