This is 2 Consumer alerts for people in Jacksonville. If you haven't experienced it yet, STAY OUT OF KROGER if you're in a hurry.
They have all the products all screwed up.
Why would you move salad dressings to the opposite side of the store so they are facing meats instead of facing the fresh vegetables and stuff for a salad! Put BBQ sauce, ketchup and mustard over there if you must.
Why would you put cereal on one aisle and the pop tarts on another one? In many families, you have one kid wanting cereal and parents or teens wanting pop tarts.
Why would they put cokes and juices away from all the rest of the kitchen products and take up their spaces with laundry detergent and other junk?
Cookies and crackers go together with ice cream.
Why hide the candy in the back?
Why split the bread products in three areas?
If they had to get rid of a section of small shelves with health items like aspirin and antihistimines that were next to the corner pharmacy, why would you hide them a couple aisles away from the pharmacy?
Why would you re-arrange the frozen food for no good reason? People like things in their normal spaces.
In short, it's a royal mess.
And, watch out next door at Big Lots and CitiTends parking lot . The landlord paved the parking lot and had new stripes painted two weeks ago.
But they didn't move the cart corrals back close to the store. And for 2 weeks people have had to dodge the corrals when they cut across the parking lot headed to the Kroger gas station or CitiTrends.
And the managers haven't fixed the problem for the customers.
At night it's very dangerous. Those stupid things belong underneath a light-pole.
