I found my self in a discussion with a friend do to new events in my life. How fo u know there has been enough time between relationships. I dont think there is a set time. But I think when your comfortable with yourself then maybe you will know its time. Been a year for me.. just not ready to go down that road again.

If you were in a serious relationship, I believe it takes two years to sort through all the stuff . (Breaking up is like a divorce or a death.)
 I also agree that there really is no set time. You will know when its right.

 Thank you for your advice I was worried about transferring emotions. But its been the two years. Ya see I've met someone since the clean up and never before have I fallen hard ive always been dragged into a relationship kicking and screaming lol. But this new thing is something different I can't tell if its the past lingering or is it something new I haven't felt yet . Its strange.  The only thing I know is hold my self back as hard as possible let time take its course. I've never needed to hold my self back before. Its a strange sensation . I've always been running as hard as I can to catch up to the other person. But both of us are running away from another as we are being dragged inward.

O I dont date off of dh im here for the forum's and friends. And its not that she ignores me we both feel we are moving to fast yet can't seem to give each other the slow speed we feel we need
