my ex used to tell me that when she was a kid she hated when her mother would bring over a guy after guy. At one point she told me that she slept with a bat next to her bed. she was recently engaged and for whatever reason didn't go through with it and now she's seeing someone different.. 3 or four months later. She is free to do what she wants, but to me it looks like she's doing the very thing she said she hated. I make a comment about it and she says that I'd like her new guy because we're both Packer fans and both brought up Catholic.
Why is she trying to sell me on her new boyfriend.. is it a sign of guilt?

Mine did simular things things to me. I countered with "And this means what to me?" Unless you have to confer with her about kids, I'd blow her off.

Who knows just don't start watching football with this guy. Maybe she wants it easy and what's everyone to be friends.
OP start living your life seperate from hers.

to answer fairly i'd have to sit down with your ex and blow suds off a few cold ones. you know, hear her side of this drama. you're buying the beer.

I don't think new boyfriends should be around the children. Or vice versa with new girlfriends. It's confusing. Hopefully she's doing this when the kids are not with her.
