I've have tried so many times and with
all sorts of products on the market to remove
the Yellow or Discolor on my Headlights.
Turtle Wax-Wipe New,none of these have worked.
A friend of mine told me what she did and no longer
has this problem.
I figured why not try it,so I did.It works Excellent.
Take Toothpaste apply it to a rag and wipe all over
your headlight.Wait for it to dry until it leaves a
white film.I left it on mine for about 20 minutes.
Take another rag with just warm water on it and wipe
off.
When and if you try this Please Post your results, let
others know how easy and great this works. It's Cheap too.

mate I work in a panel shop and do the finishing before delivery, I often have to bring up a tardy old headlight to match the new one we replaced and the way that works is you rub it with 3000 or 5000 and buff it.
You must be talking about a real slight discolour because even a hand rub with fine grit cutting polish only works on a real slight discolour or to get dead bugs off.
Now toothpaste is a little like a very fine cutting polish, it has a slight grit to polish teeth that's how it works. But generally speaking you really should use tooth polish for teeth and automotive polishes for automotive, because of all the other stuff they put in their that might affect misuse badly. You wouldn't use paint polishing glaze on your teeth would you? Probably poison yourself.
So the sodiumflourides, bleaches and other stuff in tooth polish might actually do weird things to your UV coating on modern headlights over time or in sun exposure later on.

I bought a pair of 3rd world replacements for $50.00 that included the bulbs and wiring. Bolted them in, aligned the units, and done.

So what do you charge someone to clean there headlights?
I bet its more than a tube of toothpaste. The toothpaste
is just a quick fix cheaper than most products than the
products that say they can fix it.Turtle Wax Headlight
Cleaner @ $19.95,Wipe New $45.99 and neither cleaned it
with the results of the toothpaste. This suggestion is
women also,its that easy to use.Wipe on-Wipe off can't
get any easier than that.

I use Meguiar's PlastX to clean the lenses on my old 99 Ford it cleans them right up but after a month it builds back up and I have to go back over them again.

Yes because the epa monitors free dating sites. Right tool for the right job. Microcut abrasives or as pointed up a proper buff out with ultra fine sand paper.
