World at war and Bops is super close for me. I enjoy the original treyarch style of play. Feel the games play at the pace you create. Where as the infinity ward games are a high pace feel.

Truthfully, they're all the same to me. The only reason why I like Black Ops 2 so much is due to the zombie campaign and the fact that there is a different style of gameplay involved in that. I just love my zombies, cant get enough of them. Every Call of Duty game involved the same mechanics, so once you played one Call Of Duty you played them all.......gamer

Have to disagree with the cods all being the same. With now 3 developers in on the creation of the series every cod may seem the same. But the flow and feel of it will be different. Depending on the developer, infinity ward, treyarch, sledgehammer (new) some cods are basic and require team work. Some cods are just wrecks. Fastes style of play will win. Some cods you create the flow and speed of play (black ops, modern warfare). The more new cods have all seemed similar. The traditional cods are still top games

The best cod game is a broken one and thrown in the trash.
They are all identical. Nothing changes and there is absolutely no replay value to the game. The hype should have died down after mw2. Honestly how can you have any fum mowing people down all the time or being camped to death. Get a real fps war game and go with the battlefield games. At least the gameplay online has some sense to it.
Unless mindless running around with no objective is fun to you then stay with the 9 year olds on cod games.

Ive heard the lag on battlefield is awful. Im not giving up on cod, at least they are trying to solve issues in developing games. For the first time we will get a cod that has been in development for at least 3 years. Prior the developers had 1.5 to 2 years for development. Battlefield is cool and all, some games snipers sit back and camp which makes games so long with little action happening. You can not compare a FPS game with a FPS who actually attempts making a storyline to the game with campaign mode. Think of the space cod could use if they removed campaign. I prefer the fast pace think on your feet type of games. If you want a slower pace more realistic style, just play hardcore objective games.

I personally prefer shooting games where actual intellectual strategy, tactics, battle of wits, and you out thinking your opponent will lead to victory. That is Battlefield in my opinion. Call Of Duty, assuming that the people don't camp their asses off to the point where it get annoying is the only time where Call Of Duty was any real challenge to me. Maybe its the specific people who I personally play against.....gamer

I see the word "camping" alot these days. There is a difference between camping and securing position on the map. Campers often sit in corners and dont move. Where as others who patrol a house, garage, etc is moving from entry point to entry point. That is not camping, merely holding ground on a map. Just want to calrify that, COD is for those who can play at a more quick pace and think on their feet. .

Oh trust me, I definitely know the difference, but I thank you for the clarification for the campers that are out there. Securing a position strategically and trying to use that position to your advantage is the type of layers I team u with and play against in Call Of Duty. i agree with him.ive been playin games for a long time,honestly.but,cod isnt friendly to noobs,and never has been.first console game i ever played online was mw2,and that game was terrible..and is still the same!mw2 almost ruined cod for me,seriously.a true camper,is someone that sits at your spawn point,waiting for you to appear.mw2 was terrible,in that regard.the problem is,the company supported the bs!you had a**holes that would camp ur spawn points and kill you as soon as u spawned(yes,this was a problem)only way to deal with it was to instantly cook a grenade as soon as u spawned.lets also NOT forget about the teleport knife kill!..COD is trash..and will always be so untill they use new ideas.what they are makin now is nothin more than a crysis ripoff.bah!i miss games that actually mattered...

i stick by my last statement,but i must admit to liking world at war{single and co op}and mw3.alot of people dont like mw3,but honestly,its the best{multiplayer wise}they took strides to stop the bs,but also made it so even people that werent good at FPS games could kick ass.
the problem nowadays is griefers.holier than thou "gamers"!when i was a kid,playin games meant having fun!not so,nowadays.insulting other players only makes u look like a juvinile moron,seriously,so just play!whether ur good or bad,gaming is about having fun,so stick with that mindset.playin with kids is boring

I will say if you judge the call of duty series on one game (MW2) then thats a issue. Anyone who games COD knows MW2 was set up for the nube-tubers and one man army hacks. It was a intetesting idea unfortunately the gamers found a way to abuse it (one man army) if i had to order my fav cods it looks like; WAW, Black ops, Modern warfare, MW3, Ghost, BOPs 2, MW2. Yes i understand BOPs spawn camping was a thing, at times spawns would be pushed and the opposing team would be flipped. That game really relies on team work, holding positions on the map.

With exception of spawn camping, if guys are camping you should easily figure a way to kill them. Its not a big deal to me only frustrating when im on a killstreak and some joe is just waiting in a corner.
Cod can be different every night, some games you get fast pace play, while other games you get the "campers".
The fast pace free flowing style is more fun, the strategic game styles can really test someones patience

Mw3/Black Ops, was the best ever.. Zombies is dumb... You aint killing people... The game is meant for war fare/combat of firearms.. If you cant understand what your fighting for, then why arm your gun in the first place.. Im a sniper, i live off the 1 shot 1 kill theory....

That is the thing though. When you die,they tend you to put you back in the same spot without first letting you plan tactics or a sound strategy to counter. What if the person is attempting a high score and inexperienced players ruin that chance. See the problem with this.
Although I do love the strategic, tactical, battle of wits style of game-play I don't love certain campaigns where fast pace of shooting is exhilarating i.e. zombie campaign. I just freaking love zombies. But if you have the same style of play every time you play a video game, it tends to get stale and mundane. At least for me.
Tell me this, would you rather play with experienced players who can do multiple playing styles or would rather deal with campers who are known to be some of the biggest noobs and frauds out there. I will let you decide on that.....gamer

I find myself playing black ops 2 more then this new call of duty advanced warfare game that just came out. Maybe it's me but I don't like the spawning in this new game soon as you kill someone someone flies right behind you almost everytime thus why you see so little kill streaks in the game.
