Had a conversation with my uncle who raised his 3 oldest kids on his own after his wife died of cancer in 1985. We were discussing my two boys who are 6 and 2, and how my sons would imitate what they see me do. How I treat people, how I interact with people, what are my values, and even what I eat. I'm very happy to have him, my dad, and my uncle in my life to still guide me as an adult. See down here where I'm at the my family has always had fathers around. This may not be the lack of happiness you are referring to, but when I see my boys and they come running daddy that's happiness to me.

I don't know about anyone else but I don't recall me bring up slavery. That's something you're implying. I'm not familiar with that fathers not raising children. I help raise my boys. My grandfather, dad, and uncle raised their kids. People I grew up with that I would probably consider thugs are raising their kids. I have a friend that's has 5 girls and he's raising them. I know more men that are raising their kids to some degree than those who are not. Tell me why do you feel the need to insist that we as black men aren't raising our kids. That's one thing that needs to be laid to rest because it's not completely true.

What wretched things I said? Oh we are talking about the truth that even though some hate to admit weren't disputed. You have never once see me type that I hate black women or even use the term hate in regards to anyone. Also have to realize that respect is a two way street, and when you are allowing racist men to say something about you it shows you have no respect or at least not bold enough to at least one time confront it.
