I had a guy who asked for my phone number after a couple emails. His spelling was atrocious, but I thought I'd give him a chance. Maybe when he was speaking he would be "normal."
Toward the end of the conversation I noticed that his voice was echoing. Right away, I thought, "he's in the bathroom." Then I heard a strong, loud stream of water (which turned out to be urine). In the meantime, he's still talking to me. Then I hear the FLUSH, and I knew instantly that my first instincts were correct. Right away I told him I had to get off the phone and gave him no explanation.
About a week later he tries to contact me and begs me to meet him. I say NOT! I told him I heard everything and thought it was rude and disrespectful for him to actually go to the bathroom, not caring whether or not I knew where he was, and continue a conversation!
I get a nasty note back from him saying I was crazy and stupid! What?? Who the hell is crazy and stupid?? I wasn't the one who was peeing over the phone! What a way to try and "impress" a woman, huh?

I can't tell you how many times I've gone into a public bathroom, or a bathroom at places I've worked or gone to school, only to hear people having personal or business conversations in a stall while straining to take a crap.
I sometimes lingered just to listen to "Okay, well, tell rogers he needs to 'unnnnngh' go ahead and send the file to 'unnngh, plop' Stacinski before 'unh' offering it to clients, I'll 'unh unh unh' be back in the office around 4..."
I remember as kids my sister and I would answer the phone and say "sorry, mom can't come to the phone right now, I think she's pooping in the bathroom," or, "she's taking a shower."
....the bathroom was the only room in the house with a lock that worked and where anyone had any semblance of privacy and kids not just running in at will.
Although sometimes we'd sit there and beat on the door until she opened it and took the phone if we thought it was important enough. We wanted our mom to be happy, so if someone called to make sure she was happy with her long distance service then that was a serious phone call that needed immediate attention.
Other than that, I know sometimes I've been so nervous when calling a girl it made me want to pee really bad.
Not before I called her, but like right when she picked up.

If the man is good looking and I'm attracted to him I could care less. Yes, it's bad manners if he did this before ever meeting you or getting to know you for sure.
