I am in Central Missouri and I'm looking for a decently priced Chevette Pontiac 1,000 any year, 10any suggestions on where I should look for one? Also what is the best year out there to purchase?

I was gonna write what tazz did. those cars were terrible,by the way. why not get something different,because they were among one of the worse cars ever produced.

Considering that they have not been made since the late 1980's, I would have to say you might find one in a junk yard. But that is a huge stretch. Most have been crushed flat by now.
Those cars were junk when they were new. Why would you want one almost 30 years later?
If it's cheap transportation you are seeking, Chevy makes both the Spark and Sonic that are quite budget friendly. These 2 cars also have air bags and ABS. Something that was never offered on the Chevette or Pntiac T-1000.

Taz, you are correct, exactly what Im looking for.
my brother has one of those cars and is looking for parts to use on it or an entire car just to have the parts to use on his current car. If there was a way I could post a picture, I would let you see how important it is that he keeps this particular car running.

I did see a few listed on Craigslist but you would have to search in you're area.
