I'm black and a artist myself but as I have gotten older I realized that almost all rap is a blueprint on how to go to jail instead of being uplifting or informative. Thoughts?

the evolution of ignorance I like to call it.
originally rapping about the struggle was intended purpose I presume. but the message got distorted And the struggle became cool. being a criminal became cool. going to jail became cool.
rap has lost its original purpose and is now just a cash cow.
there's a formula that sells and people stick to it. rap aint uplifting because the fans don't want to hear things that are uplifting.
that ain't gangsta.

Don't listen to rap.
It's repetitious and annoying.
That's not to say there isn't some good rappers out there who have good in music, it is just hard to find I suppose.
I could easily find indie on vinyl.
