As I go through profile of men on here and other dating sites I often wonder what in the world were they thinking when they took their profile photo…so I ask you ladies when looking at men’s profile picture; what is the first thing you notice that is a major turn off? For me it’s usually if they have dirty laundry or toilet seat up in the bathroom…or look unclean I mean unruly hair, wrinkled clothes. If I see those things I don’t go any further in the profile. Am I being judgmental? I don’t think so, pictures are the first impression.
I am sure they probably feel the same about us.

What catches my eye:
His smile and a nice head shot.
What annoys me:
Holding a beer/alcohol.
Standing near a car.
Standing with women. Really?
Pictures of pictures that are 10 yrs old.
No smile.
Wearing sunglasses.
Throwing up gang signs.
Standing in a messy bathroom/bedroom.
REALLY guys? Heck take some time to look good. Selfies are fine, most of mine are selfies and I do a good job making the picture bright and clear.
I know man read our posts.

Those profiles make me very uncomfortable...if the child is shown more than he "father" I flag the profile. I rather be wrong than to allow a pedophile go free.

When asked if the child is his some say no its a neice/nephew. Why have a photo with a child and the kid ain't even yours. Makes no sense. Leave the kids out, that goes for both gals and guys

Seeing them kneeling next to a deer they shot, holding up a catfish they just noodled or a bass they caught, seeing them standing next to a hanging animal carcass, sticking their tongue out, having a child in any of their pics, pics of what they own

Agree with you all.
Don't forget pictures too far away you can't see them. High school picture or driver's license pictures. The ones with kids drive me crazy. I'm sure the baby mama's don't appreciate that.

I believe the main picture should not have sunglasses, and I agree that they shouldn't have their EX or current girlfriend in the pictures if they're actually trying to date But then again if they didn't, it would be harder to spot the douches to block. No gang signs and no dirty things if it's a bedroom/ Bathroom selfie. But honestly... I think you're a bit irrational to have an issue with them holding a drink or standing by a car.Seriously that's just insane of you to say. I mean most people take pictures when they are out enjoying themselves with friends. If you don't like a drinker you don't have to date one but it's kind of childish for you to state they shouldn't hold a drink in a photo or stand by a car. I do however hate when they take pictures of just a car... or just a bike, I would prefer they were standing next to it.. I think it's fine if they want to show it off in ONE picture.. as long as they aren't obsessed with their toys. Other than that I agree with this.

I'm on here for forums so I dont really look at profiles very often, but I do notice the pictures beside the posts.
The ones standing near a car don't bother me and as long as the ones with children aren't their main pic...I guess it's borderline ok... it just leaves me wondering why someone would display their kid's pic on a public profile. What bothers me the most are the shirtless pics, flashing gang signs, holding a beer, or acting silly.

The other day I accidently clicked on a guys profile because I was curious about how old he was. His main picture was okay but the rest were pictures of his private part.
I rarely click on guys profiles anymore. Except if they are one of my friend's and I want to send them a message.

All of my pics I took, when I had a cam.Learned really fast the back ground is important. Also reflect the real you.
I think we all have seen distasteful pics.I have to say anyone of mine i'd use on a resume.Which I have done on cover letters.
You have no idea how many resumes I have read and find out they have the qualifications, but chose not to defind a proper present, for an interview.
