This is a bird feeder I put together today.
The curved part is one of the ends of my garden beds that had rotted away for the most part. I was able to salvage this one and I dug a couple of holes and stuck it in!
I was finally able to get more of the area tilled up.
I just let the tiller go where it wants for the most part.
Thankfully it pulls itself forward and backward!!!
I still have not decided what I am going to do with this area.
I have thought about reforming beds.
Also about just covering it with a foot of straw and planting through it.
Or leaving it raked out flat and put a hybrid hydroponic system in the area...

like the bird feeder and on that spot you tilled up try buckwheat it will grow about 2 ft. tall with seeds on top till that up makes great humus for soil.

Actually I am probably going to be forming that whole area into individual beds again.
I make my beds usually 4 feet wide and various lengths and this time I am thinking about making them out of redwood or cedar and shoot for a height of a couple of 2by8's for instance...
I've grown buckwheat before...
This is what that area looked like for about 5 years...
