The good news is.....YES, there are good men around....plenty of them.
Now for the bad news...
These good men will avoid all women who question if there are good men around, with the emphysis as if there may not be or very many.
Why? Because good men run too many times into women with issues, generally that way because they always lay the blame elsewhere than themselves, and basically they are a waste of time for these men, because these issues will always get in the way of a successful relationship....no matter what or how good he is.
However, the players like women like this, because they are easy to play up to considering everything.

Maybe it means a good man who will accept a woman who had a child in her teens, who also had child in their teens....meaning if things work out and they get married, they can be great grandparents by the time they hit 52.

There are a lot of good "people" out there on dating sites. Many are ones you don't give a second look to, though. So your individual pool can be very small depending on the kinds of people you're attracted to most.

I find that people that ask these question are not very desirable. For whatever reason. Good men and good women exist for good men and good women who have their house in order. Validate your own existence. Accept responsibility. look in the mirror and realize it takes more than genitalia. You get what you deserve or settle for.

I think so. Just takes time to find out who they are.
Most want instant set ups. TIME it Takes TIME. However, they don't want to take the time to even put a profile picture. I am talking about my IRL friend SoledadSP. He wants instant gratification. He put his profile up &
that's it. He didn't even go on the forums to write anything. He didn't wink. He didn't send messages.
He wants women to approach him.  I keep telling him to stay in the game. He's depressed. He's out of the game. I asked him again. He's out. Yet he stays on Craig's list.
To my friend:
women get tons of mail in their inboxes
after sifting through it, do you think they have time to go through the Searches?
they read the forums, they respond, they look at men's responses and decide if they even want to text you back. Deal with it. Like she said, "IT TAKES TIME" (a4umposter).

Of course there are good men. All over the place, and not all of them are already in relationships.
The problem is not "do they still exist", the problem is that people find what they're looking for. You need to determine if you are actually looking for one as you define "good". If your methods are not yielding what you want, it is a fault with your methods. Not with that there are none to find.
You need to figure out if you have defined what a good man means to you. Then figure out if where and how you're looking will get you what you want. I mean, you have to use the correct bait and the correct way to cast if you want to catch a particular fish, right? You can't fish for swordfish in a river, and you can't fish for bass using a PB&J sandwich. Fishermen spend a little time preparing for the specific fish they're going after, too.

Why?? Being good doesn't mean you get a free pass to what you want. I'm sure there have been some good women that were interested in you that maybe didn't meet other expectations you might have for a SO.
I'm a nice and good woman(mostly) and not every man that's looking for a nice woman is going to be attracted to me. It really does take more then just being nice or good.
