Anyone else getting 50 to 100 spammers in their inbox? Too many to report. Is there actually anyone managing this site or is it on autopilot? It's really annoying. These people need to get a life.

I am also getting a lot of spammers in my mail box and have been clicking on the spam and also tried the vulgar one...But they still keep invading.
I don't get as many as you do, but it's still annoying and I don't know where else to complain.
They should have a special area for this.

Turn off your Notifications function in your account for a while ... They will get bored and leave.
Set your profile to invisible for a while .... They will get bored and leave.
Stop going onto other sites and dragging all the space trash bots from those sites to this site.
Clear your history, cache and cookies between site changes.
This is not a rocket surgery.

I admire you for wanting to make a difference, but this is a free dating site, so you enter at your own risk. I can't believe that many would actually pay for any membership perks here. They all deal with the same crap as non-paying members here. Sometimes it's just best to leave the site.

I think what Robin is trying to say is that perhaps everyone should show a little self-control and patience by trying all the things she is used to suggesting to fix minor issues with the site while the big wigs work on the heavy-duty type fixes needed to return the site to regular operating functionality.
I have NOT had this issue. Not even once. And I am by no means a computer guru but I sure do know how NOT to attract the current type issues.
Patience .... It is a virtue.

The guy's right. You ladies are saying delete and move on, ignoring to issue. Us guys get 2x to 10x the number fake profiles in our inboxes compared to you ladies. It's annoying and encourages us to give up on finding a date with this site.
The best advice for the individual is to delete the message, block the profile, and move on. But this is Bug Reports, and we're posting in this area because we want the site to do something about it. It's an infestation of fake profiles.
DH, please clean up your site.

IF as a man on this site you agree with the same repetitive "fix" a female member consistently gives then that is all that the members can do to try to offer assistance on this issue. Correct?
The follow-on thought is that it is, indeed, a site issue which needs to be resolved but the members can't, and don't have that capability.
ERGO ... IF members inboxes are being flooded with these kinds of emails then flood Customer Support with your complaints .... not the forum boards.
Sounds quite reasonable to me ... But then you know me 
CS may not read the incoming email and just toss them out but I will bet they know of a way to stop them from over loading their central control boards.
It sounds easy to say it, MYT ..... but everything is not the fault of the site ...... the members are their own worse enemies in some of these issues.
Hells Bells ....... What if it was encumbrant upon me to go through all the forums on this site clean up after myself as I went ... do you honestly think that that would accomplish anything of a lasting nature?
If we all join together and work as a team perhaps we can keep our free site from falling into the a Yas of hell.
As stated several times ......... I don't suffer with this problem. But then my profile is invisible which stops the space trash from getting into my inbox. And I sure as hill don't visit online porn sites.
IMHO I believe that everyone should clean up their own house before hiring a domestic.

You only want messages from "happy" people saying 2+2=_, along with a long quality message? More power to you. Hold your standards at whatever level you wish. But, most real people here are lonely and broken. The rest are fakes. This is not a site full of only the winners in life. The lady of your dreams might be illiterate, and you'll over look her because of a crappy message. Just saying... There's more to a person than their ability to represent themselves on a failing dating site left over from the 90's.
The fake to real ratio seems to be about a 5:1. That's pretty bad. Almost as bad as MeetMe. The only thing this site could do to help eliminate the fakes is something similar to your test question... A test question message sent to every profile. The ones that fail to respond, or fail to respond correctly, get deleted or get a badge on their profile saying "Possible Fake". That'd take some work, but it'd be easier than what we're having to do.

When I first signed on, I had a serious problem with the infestation of fakes. The site administration was more punctual then. They would actually post in the forums and have conversations about the issues. But, slowly they quit trying. Maybe the job was too monotonous. Maybe management got mad about the declining numbers.
A test message to all users would dramatically reduce the number of fakes. I'll answer a message in my inbox from this site. Especially if it's threatening,
"...Respond, or be deleted..."

I fear our complaints are too little too late. This site is on a serious decline. It's like trying to stop a train wreck.
