what methods have you found success with to squelch stinky sneakers?
I've washed my insoles. Put new insoles in even. Use foot powder. Yet it seems I can't ever get a handle on their stink.

Light bleach water, and also sprayed them with Lysol. My Brother in Law prescribe me surgical soap and used it for feet and underarms when hunting...even kept my heavy leather snake boots from smelling. I wear mainly wool-acrylic or similar socks that do not absorb much water-no cotton if I can help it.

After all that fails, they need washing, whether washing machine or by hand, just like clothes do.

I throw em in the washing machine when they smell a bit and when there's too much dirt on the mesh, etc.

Got to the store and buy a can of athletes foot spray. The kind with Tolnaftate in it. The liquid spray and not the powder spray.
Spray the insides of the shoes well.
After a day or 2 spray them good again.
Repeat every week or two.
No more stinky feet. Stinky feet are caused by bacteria. Bacteria don't live in tolnaftate very well. So no stench!
Unless you have that disease that makes people smell like dead fish or burning rubber tires. Then there is no hope!

Wash them.
Put theminplastic bags and put them in the freezer.
When removed treat with a spray for this purpose which you can purchase at a. Athletics store.
Best ethos I have found.

Heard you do the same thing with your panties, cup. Is that true?
On second thought, don't answer. I don't want to know.
