I met this guy in here, it will be a month next Saturday. We have chatted on the phone, chatted in FB and in the dating site. How much time do I give him before I suggest meeting in person. I do think that he is a nice person so far. We have alot in common. It just doesn't seem like we are getting anywhere. I'm trying to be patient with him but it is very hard.

Just maybe he waiting on you to suggest it.If nothing more, just ask if he's like to meet for coffee.Someone has to break the ice.
Since most woman complain men move to fast,I can understand why the topic hasn't been discussed. Personally he's being polite or never was intent.Only you will know by his reply.
Good luck!
Sometimes I truly can understand why men get confused. It's sort of a no win for them.Either they are to fast or 2 slow.
So by all means if you feel a comfort with a meet and greet suggest it. Just don't expect a wedding ring.

I asked if he would like to meet in person and he told me that he will be busy in his job up until May 1. I then asked him if after May 1 if he would like to meet in person. I told him that I thought it would be nice if we met so we can both see who we've been chatting with in the dating site, texting and talking on the phone to. He never responded back to me.

I suggested us meeting in person and he said that he is very busy at work up until May. I said that afterwards would he like to meet. He never answered me. I would hate to think that he would get upset about me wanting to meet him.

If he can find the time to chat and have a phone conversation etc.I'd say he would have time to meet casually. No Job is 24/7.
Unless there is a great distance. That would be a reasonable answer.
I'd continue looking for someone that has more time for you.
Suggest you keep that option open .
I have to laugh, most men in a month want you in their bed.Your only asking for a meet and greet. And I feel that's reasonable.
For God sakes hope your not sexual detailed on phone.

You better find somebody else with whom to chat.

I know right now I'm busy as hell with work. And while I can anticipate being not so busy in June, I also don't know what might get dumped in my lap with work.
I've been trying to meet up with an old friend who moved back to the area (1.5 hours away) for over two months now but our schedules just haven't aligned.

Sounds like he's not interested any longer. You aren't committed to him. Keep your options open. Especially since he's shown no signs of wanting to meet, even after you asked him. He could have at least responded that he's not interested in any more than chat friends when you asked, because of a busy schedule or whatever reason.
Sorry.

He does travel in his job quite a bit and that is the reason why he doesn't want to meet right now. He says that he is busy up until May. He tells me that I will just have to understand that he is busy. No, that is a plus that he doesn't talk the sexual talk like most of them do. That's why I liked him.

That's why I'm thinking that I should give him the chance. I really think he is nice. In the last 3 wks he has been to 2 different states and is on the road now in Ohio. There is a few pluses with him that I like. One, he has never made a sexual remark to me ever like these other men have and he said tha the wanted to be friends first which I think you have to be friends first before you are in a relationship. I will keep myself open to others and give him until May that he is asking me to do. If then things don't change or I meet someone in between now and then, then it's his loss.

I'm just playing devils advocate.
He could just be stringing you along while he's playing others waiting for them to strike out before he pulls you from the bench and puts you in the game.

You need to have that intial conversation To see if u have things in common. And then meet within a week. Do not wait. He is definitely lying to you. MOVE ON.
Stop having the fantasy thinking, which is, thinking he is this wonderful guy before you even meet him.
STOP IT!!

OP do not be too eager. Really know the guy in persin before thinking he is the one.
Tons of scammers on this site. Watch out. Thats why meeting a LOCAL guy is important. And meeting in person Right away.
Keep your wallet close.

He calls me on the phone and I've seen him in here. I have messged him and he just deletes my messages. I feel like I need to start ignoring his phone calls. It seems like he wants to talk when he wants to and not any other time. He told him something to day that I take his time up. I'm like, who calls who here. I never call him. And has the nerve to say that I take up his time. Maybe need to start ignoring his phone calls etc.

OP I have seen a few other posts that you have made over time with other men.I'm sorry your having such bad luck.
I feel most of the advice is sound, what has been given to you ,or others have done or tried.
Wasting time with hopeful thought is something you may shorten and move to another option.
There are times people come on here just to fill a void, they have their fix,in conversation, and maybe not really looking for anything more. Sure keep them as a someone you know but for heaven sake don't linger with hopeful changes...it usually doesn't change, and that's not what it seems your looking for.Maybe update your profile which definds clearer.
After a few conversations you should have a very very clear picture where there would be a meet and greet , if not request one.

^^^^^ This..... and while at it, don't play games by "ignoring" his calls... BLOCK his calls! Hope you find what you're looking for. BTW, if he's so busy where does he find time to be on DH?

You need to let that one go.
Too many different signs.
So what he doesnt mention sex...some men will stay away with that type of conversation.
This guy could be married....no matter what it is, you have been ignored and messages deleted.
Move the hell on and stop overthinking.
Nothing solid has come from all this.
