The new 3DS console, called the "New Nintendo 3DS XL," is the only console that this new 3DS game will work on - Xenoblade Chronicles. The game comes out on April 10 (next week). The Xenoblade game is the same as was issued originally for Wii, just ported over to the New 3DS.
Is anyone getting the game and new system? I'm very interested in this game, and the new system. I'm hoping I can tolerate the 3D effect better with the new system, and I know I'd enjoy a bigger screen. They say it's comparable to the size of the iPhone 6 (which I don't have).
Please share your impressions of the new system, if you've have it, and any thoughts about the Xenoblade Chronicles game.
If you already played the game on Wii, please rate it, and tell what you liked best, or how it compares to your other favorite games. The reviewer called it a mix of JRPG, and RPG. The characters look so cool on the previews, and the vistas/scenery is really awesome.

I personally love my Zelda MM edition. They fixed the 3D with the head motion tracking and the C stick is awesome. Battery life is great cant really tell the difference in speed between old 3DS XL yet though. As for the Xeno I heard its not a great port but haven't bought it yet to see it for myself.

I was going to get Xenoblade on the 3DS, partly to justify the money I spent on the "New" model. But I've decided to hold out for Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U. I figure games like that deserve the big screen.

Heard many good things about the Xenoblade series in general, but been so busy with the Tales of series, Legend of Zelda series, and the Final Fantasy series that I haven't given it much of a chance. But plan on ordering it soon.....gamer

I got the system solely for this game because I didn't bother with the wii. Its a good game, that challenges you and penalizes you for not paying attention. The attack system is not simply button mash, even though it looks like it. Obviously the graphics on the wii are way better, but its the same game. If you have cash and the time, I would pick it up, its worth it. Japan has part 2 out for the wii u, and it looks bad ass. Depending if this gets a us release, i might consider picking it up.

I will probably trade in my system soon for the new version. Gamestop will give u $100 for the trade in towards the new system. I really wanna try that game

The extra anolog needs a little getting used to, but its a definite upgrade and worth getting.
