A good up and coming artist isn't going to give their services away for free. The time, cost and potential liability aren't worth it, A reduced fee maybe but not free. Some shops take on intern's for a lower cost you might try that. Remember, You get what you pay for.

Well, I do agree with the possibility of getting what u pay for. However I did get a reply from this ad already. And, the idea came about because someone else was building his portfolio and initially was doing this for me free. He had an ad on craigs initially. But he upped and disappeared. Honestly I know the most amazing tattoo artist close by who is well rounded artist with oil paintings that should be in moma! I wish I could afford his work!!! But, u never know...when someone might do it as a way to spread the word about their work. Happens all the time. Even I plan to begin networking for something else this way. Have to start somewhere.
