I haven't been feeling well lately and just chalked it up to bronchitis, which I get frequently. I went to the doctor on Friday and my blood pressure was 170/90 which is very high for me. My primary sent me to the cardiologist on Monday and it was 158/90, still not good but better. I had been on pills to raise my overall blood pressure because it used to run low, especially when standing. Anyhoo, I got an EKG which came out okay (I had to have it done twice because the girl got the leads reversed and it looked like I had a heart attack). I will be getting an Echo Cardiogram on Friday and a 4 hour stress test next Tuesday. I've been having chest pain and tightness. As you can imagine, I'm a little worried.
So, please pray for me.
I apologize for not being on as much to do birthdays and such but I've had a lot going on including 4 people I know having cancer.

Sorry hear this this Joni. I was having heart problems last year. My bp was great and i had a echogram, ekg and bloodwork. I take Ternornim for bp. My cardiologist says everything was great. Hope everything goes well with you my friend. God Bless

Sorry to hear you are not feeling good. Hope you get well soon. I have a lot of heart problems also. I have a low heart rate, 3 leaky valves, and mitral valve prolapse. Just found this out last year. I will be praying for you.

Good luck. Get to bed earlyI just had a CT scan done on my lung tumor and all went well but it took forever to get in and out.

That's the way hospitals are.
The test went well and I haven't heard anything, so I guess the doctor didn't find anything. There were a few of us there for the same thing. So, we sat and talked. The nurse brought out juice, coffee and snacks. I did start to pass out when I saw the needle on the tray though. (for the IV). Flashbacks to when I was like 6 or 7 and had allergy testing every Friday - 12 shots in each arm. It went on for weeks, maybe months and the doctor would have me hold the tray with the needles on it. I haven't taken well to needles since.

Glad your done and all went well. IV's aren't my thing. I just wanted to thank everyone for prayers for the child that needed a liver. Both he an another sweet little boy had transplants yesterday at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital and are doing well.Happy Holiday everyone
