Just made black bean and brown rice soup. I added a can of tomatoes with chilies, lime, and cumin and chili powder to chicken broth and stirred in canned black beans and brown rice and cooked it in pressure cooker 20 minutes. You can top with cheese and sour cream when served.

I like Persian food, but most of the recipes are pretty complicated, so I made a simplified version.
1.5 lb Chicken (usually drumsticks or thighs)
1 Tbs Butter
1/2 onion, sliced thin
4 oz dried apricots, cut in half
4 oz prunes, cut in half
1/2 apple, skinned and sliced
1/4 ts each of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg
Splash of white wine
Salt and pepper to taste.
This takes about 30 minutes to cook. Melt butter in a frying pan (with a lid) over medium/medium high heat. Add chicken and every few minutes stir them around to make sure all sides get done. Five into cooking, add the onion. When it looks about 5 minutes from being done, all all the remaining ingredients and stir to get the spices spread evenly. Continue cooking until the apples soften.
Serve with rice.

I like watching "Charlie Andrews" & "crockpot recipes" on youtube, I made his stovetop candy yams they came out good, I purchased a 5qt Hamilton Beach crockpot from walmart, black & silver, with a knob, not ditial, nothing fancy.....I cook in it all the time, I watch recipes on youtube, then I prepare them with my own twist, meaning my choice of SEASONings, I always make the "crockpot rotisserie chicken" see it on youtube.
*IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO MORE easy CROCKPOT or SIMPLE recipes.....please message me in my inbox.....happy cooking.

Well I was looking for something simple with not so much sauce or coating. So I looked for the most common ingredients In most of the recipes. And came to the conclusion to season with - thyme, black pepper and butter. Preheat at 375 and bake for 50min, turn oven off and let them sit in the oven for about 10-15min

BREAKFAST BITES
For this awesome breakfast you'll need: Eggs, bacon, a mini muffin pan, and an oven. With all of these things you're set to start making the best breakfast out there.
First you wrap a piece of bacon in the muffin pan and then add the whisked eggs. Once you have added the eggs to all the wrapped bacon bites, put the pan in the oven (at 350) for 30 to 35 minutes.
After they are done cooking, take the bites out, let them cool, and then enjoy!
