I pretty sure most people have figured out the stock market and the risk associated with it and if they are knowledgeable or lacking knowledge about the markets.
Kind of like most people by 3 knows how to tie their shoe laces too.
I personally prefer to tell people the truth about the stock market, there are too many sector when it comes to market and if you're going to play in the secondary market you better learn the basics , the risk and the difference between investing and speculating.
You might think its a waste of time and gambling but that is your opinion

) Foreigners own just 1.5% of Chinese shares, so your portfolio is unlikely to be directly affected. Still, economists are worried that stock losses will ripple through China's economy, and take a bite out of consumer spending. Gold, copper and other commodity prices have been affected.10) The government's goal is to minimize damage to the real economy, and Beijing still has policy tools it can use to support growth.11) However, there are signs of weakness spreading through China's manufacturing sector. On Friday, a key gauge of China's manufacturing activity tumbled to its lowest level in 77 months.

Don't you mean that this administration has tanked our job prospects and overtaxed us with unaffordable health care so that businesses can't hire as many full time workers so that employees can't spend their bucks on Chinese goods so our maufacturers can't sell the goods made in China so our workforce is diminished even more so stock goes down and down and down like a viscious circle because we got in bed with China in the first place.

The stock market usually rises before employment rises and falls prior to employment falling.
I think we are seeing a correction as things were getting out of wack. Just look at the rapid rise of China's market and there is no way that it is not a bubble.

Its on, this is black Monday, we are now in a full on market crash, global trade in freefall. We are watching history being made.

In the first great depression, stocks crashed, then regained their value, then crashed again, BIG TIME!. And the market is following the same pattern this time. This will be the greatest US stock market crash in history.
God help us.

Louie, for God's sake get your info from somewhere other than InfoWars.
"stocks crashed, then regained their value, then crashed again, BIG TIME!"... Describes the ever-present boom-bust cycle of Capitalism. It's not some prophecy of "the big one", for God's sake. Every bust that ever happened can be described that same way.

Annamaly, you say: “2016, that’s when the shit is going to hit the fan.” No, it’s going to hit the fan before then. God is warning Christians and our government that he is sending a comet to strike the Earth. And our government is tracking it right now, even as I write, but not warning the American people (while preparing underground bunkers for themselves. It is due to strike the Earth in the Caribbean on Sept 23, causing a colossal tsunami and triggering an earthquake disaster that will be especially catastrophic to America. It will wipe out coastal cities and cause the east and west coasts of America to become deeply cut in. In the East, Florida will sink permanently beneath the sea, and a massive earthquake along the New Madrid Fault line that runs roughly along the Mississippi River will cause the ocean to come up along the fault line, permanently dividing America in half. In the West, California will break off and sink permanently beneath the sea, two thirds of Oregon, and one third of Washington State.
God refers to it as “the first strike of my fulminating sword”, and it “will cause America to fall down and cry out for help”. It is part of the Great Chastisement of God foretold by the prophets. As many as half the American people may perish in this disaster. The next day, Sept 24, the stock market will be in confusion and utter chaos. The government knows all this, and has put JADE HELM 15 into place to enforce martial law afterwards, and to destroy what the comet strike does not destroy. Obama was installed by the Illuminati to bring America down from within, and to turn American sovereignty to a One World Government set up under the UN and controlled by the Illuminati before the end of this term. The worst is yet to come, and it will come before the end of the year.
No, the worst is yet to come, and soon, very soon. You ain't seen nothing yet. A nation cannot wage war against God, murder over 60 million of its infants, promote a plague of homosexuality, and on and on, without eventually bringing the wrath of God down upon itself and the world. God has been patient, but his justice will not sleep forever. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah? God holds his laws into force even when men laugh them to scorn, and God will not be mocked. The Great Chastisement of God and its series of disasters is coming, including a plague of incurable diseases, a world bankruptcy, a comet strike and its associated tsunami and earthquake disaster, and the Third World War, evils which will follow one another without interruption. It will be the greatest punishment from God since the Great Flood of Noah, and few will survive it. No, you ain't see nothing yet.

All I can say is someone dumped a $hit ton of money into the market this morning to cover all them sell orders that came in!
And since no one is bragging about it, and since there is no legal way for a normal person to hide it -- then it had to be the Fed.
I seriously doubt people in Asia were pulling their money out of the market to just dump it in the DOW.

I predict the market could slide under 10k or even under 7k if war breaks out or something really bad happens.
This seems to be the case whenever there is a major election on the horizon where a term limit maximum President is about to leave office -- Democrat OR Republican.

My understanding is that the big concern in China is the shrinking of the manufacturing sector...
If the assumption that the Chinese are reliant on keeping Wal-Mart shelves full of chinese made junk is correct, then that is a clear but indirect indicator that the US economy is not really in better shape than it was 5 years ago...
