yes i had chicken pox, made our own skate boards ...transister radios...bb guns....banana bikes. clackers..........a sweet girlfriend at 13,very cute.......we kissed like we were 20 or so..also had hot wheels,a pigeon in the house, pet chicken..too dam many dogs.......and being in north carolina mountains...sleds an would ride 2 or 3 on them ,it snows good around asheville an smokies at times................

A pony that would get out of its stall and knock on the door when my mom made spaghetti -it loved spaghetti -lots of land to roam around and get in trouble -several near-death experiences -horses -lots of farm animals -a huge garden we tended -jars of lightning bugs (we let them go after a while -see few these days) -several grocery bags overflowing with fireworks -a farm truck my dad would let me drive when I was barely tall enough to stand on the seat (he would do the gas and brakes) -many inner tubes strapped to the top of a station wagon we would take to the river and float down -bridges and cliffs to jump from into the river -cowboy boots and hat (normal for those days in our area) -motorbikes -BB guns -.22s -slingshots -zip line strung between water tower and a tree (the tree would stop you if you did not let go and roll in time) -brothers who would scare me every time I turned a corner so I jumped and fell on my butt -various boy scout gear -army surplus feather pillows that had an awesome cold spot and provided a good thud for pillow fights -cross-country family vacations....etc...

piano/guitar/dance/horse riding lessons, a crush on my riding instructor, hand-me-down western then 70's/disco-style clothing, calloused bare feet which allowed me to sprint through the woods and on gravel roads, pocket knives, lots of chocolate shakes, homemade pizza/donuts, waffles with ice cream on top for breakfast, a small roughly carved figure I dug up which had transparent green stone eyes (probably worth quite a bit, but I lost it), etc....
