Eight years or so the first time, 4 years in she decided she liked to argue and fight about everything. After about a year or so of tolerating that nonsense I invited her to leave in no uncertain terms, she did. For insurance reasons we stayed married but far apart for another 3 years. I considered myself single once she was gone and stayed that way for 6 years.
23 years the second time, and I made a vow on our wedding day it would be my last marriage! She developed a habit of lying, stealing, and the final straw was cheating. She was also invited to leave in no uncertain terms, our kids pushed her out.
Divorced now for 6 years and life is easy!

Ive been divorced for about 3 years. Got married to my high school sweet heart while in thr army. Everything went very well until she started to lie about small things. After married i realised my mistake but it was to late. I tried very hard to make my marriage work but a human can only do so much. What finally did it for me was her being lazy. Letting the house get nasty and cheating on me. I caught her with my nco who was a colored gentlemen. I say that very losely aswell. Afterwards anh trust i had in my units leadership went down the drain. Because he was a nco and other things he had a slap on the wrist while i suffered. Went without eating day after day. Finally the divorce was final. I was discharged from the army 2 years after my divorce aswell. I havent dated since

Married 24 years and divorced 3... Still growing up from the experience .. We just became mean to each other. Couldn't find a happy medium and I was brave to address it...but divorced on his terms...

I was married 21 years. Been divorced four years now. My ex got re-married after 8 months. I've had a couple dates since then. I found out in short order that a lot of women have gotten too picky and demanding. I decided to let them, and just not bother with dating.

10 Imprisoned years married. Freedom of 13 years divorced now.
It would take one hell of a woman for me to ever think of putting on those marriage chains on again.
But, then again, I always remain hopeful that a woman of that kind of caliber will not make me feel we have need any of those "chains". The future is not set in stone , and I refuse to let my last marriage experience rule any future in my life.
