I'm grateful for my life in general. I appreciate all the fortunes and misfortunes this life has offered me. Without struggles, I would not have learned strength, and compassion. Without fortunate circumstances, I would not challenge myself to do better and respect what I have.
I surround myself with good people who come from all walks of life. I feel honored to be among them.
Family is my strength and weakness. Friends are the family I choose. Both give me strength and encouragement and humble me when I need it. Grateful for their health and happiness.
The man I have come to love, adore and respect. Being with someone is crazy challenging. In the end, he is amazing to my daughter and me. Although I loved running amok, I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world.
I am a lucky girl with an average life. I work, have friends, family and health. My true happiness comes from the joy I share with others. Grateful for today.

I am thankful for God providing me with Geeko, Flit, and Little Dude and for teaching Geeko what needs to be done when my heart and lungs stop. I have never had a human family who wanted me, but I have had bobcats, deer, and other animals who have been there for me.

Teenage is challenging for sure but what I found is that the real challenge is on the parents and their ability change their "way" of parenting..
You can't (or should I say, you shouldn't) just tell them what to do...You have to present it as a viable solution or the least of 2 wrongs.. And allow them to start making the best decision.... many parents say this is my rules and this is my house...where I ask if they enjoy living here and they can do this or this with allowing them to make the right choice...They will if its thought to be their decision..
if that makes any sense..but Teens are fun and can make your home fun..Just allow them too.
