If I'm not mistaken, evolution does not cause species to "appear" -so it would be more correct from that point of view to say that alligators existed as alligators some 37 million years ago according to available evidence. Alligators would have gradually become alligators from something else, so there must be a specific point at which an alligator could be recognized as such -and the species from which it evolved as such -even if the change was gradual. If such is the case, having all possible data would make it difficult to decide when a species was a new species.
Ironically, even as the idea of direct creation of new species in the distant past is increasingly ridiculed, we are nearing the point of being able to directly create new species.

Have you ever thought about hair and nail growth?
Some say hair and nails grow in a seven year cycle then slows down, or goes into hibernation to rejuvenate before beginning the process again.
Since hair and nails are protein... does this mean all vegetarians are bald?

Wouldn't it be cool if we had perfect memory, and could make music playlists in our heads?
Watched a sci-if show where everyone had a video recorder implanted -didn't turn out so well.
Actually, it is not turning out so well even now without them being implanted.
Maybe the tribesmen who thought cameras stole you soul were kinda right.
We tend to trust video more than memory, too, but as it must be applied by the mind, processed by the mind and is quite like a memory in the collective mind of society, it is subject to similar problems.

1 make sure to follow all assembly instructions provided
2 NEVER stand on chair
3 DO NOT sit on edge of chair. Sit only on the middle
4 DO NOT lean back with excessive force as chair may tip over.
5 Keep fingers AWAY from swivels, tilts, and Castor's, as well as any sharp edges..... (This chair does not tilt, roll, or swivel!?)
6 On smooth floors... CHAIRS TEND TO SLIDE... GRASP CHAIR FIRMLY BEFORE SITTING
7 any defects that could cause bodily harm should be reported to place of purchase... (Damn.. I knew I shouldn't have bought that 3 legged chair!)
"UNDER PENALTY OF LAW... THIS TAG IS NOT TO BE REMOVED"....

this time of year Andromeda is below the northern horizon, but in winter you can find Andromeda in the constellation Pegasus. But Pegasus is BIG, so use Cassiopeia's 3 center
stars as a pointer towards Pegasus. Andromeda is about 15 degrees out from the last star
