About Me : Age 60 (Yes I am old but not dead) , 6' tall Dark brown hair ,Hazel eyes, I like to think At 290 I am overweight yes (working on weighing less, at times yes others no ) I have only one arm (Had a shoulder disarticulation in 1976 due to accident) I am a Liberal Democrat and proud of it, (something of a detriment for dating in the south these days) I am Catholic but don't really go to church much anymore (Living in the Bible Belt has soured religion for me), I have 4 grown children all on their own, all employed and married, I have 10 grandchildren. For those interested my astrological sign is Scorpio.
Optional information: I like classic rock and country music, I read a wide variety of books , magazines and yes newspapers (I have a journalism degree) . I go to live theatre whenever I can and to the Movies also. I watch TV via tvaddons a free internet non-streaming way to watch commercial free broadcast television shows, I am pro-choice and think religion or religious ideals have no place in politics, I am a classic trained chef, a photographer, woodworker, novice artist, and coffee lover.
Love and relationships: I really am a true romantic in that I believe the romance in a relationship is as important as Love. I think non-sexual intimacy is the cement that keeps the initial love growing. I want to wake up every morning next to the woman I love. (I have lived the separate bedrooms, no hand holding, no kissing no hugging and sexual contact thing and I would rather die alone than do that again.) I believe love at first sight is real because it has happened to me with my first wife who died in an accident. I know how to love with no holds barred and do so. I think you are never too old to have sex and that it is also an important part of a relationship. (I have written a book on love and romance)
What am I hoping to find: A woman wants an deep romance that is full of unexpected and spur of the moment things. One who wants to be spoiled and loved, enjoyed and honored. A woman who can live with a unique and odd kind of personality. A woman who can accept a person passionate about what he believes in and who can be a bit loud about things at times. A woman who wants to hold hands and who can handle a guy who will haul off and kiss her like a teenager in love at any time or any place.
