How many ppl can spot the Ghana scammers on here?
What are the red flags?
I know one james34r5 states he is in military and has the number 5714097618.. When you look it up it actually brings you to a discussion on here abt how stupid do they think we are.. Lol..
First sign
They love you and been looking for someone like you. Sob story.. Ugh.. They dont want to call.. They want money as are money is over 3 times of value in their currency...
You call the number and it is only a txt message number, meaning they are on a computer.. Do a reverse look up and you can obtain their ip address..
They really need to step up their game.. Wow lol
I told them I know their game better then they do. Geez..
Hope no one falls into their trap by being to needy and naive..
Please share your experiences..

I'm not sure if this is from Ghana, but got a phone call from a "computer service company" that wanted to talk abt my PC. "Legitimate" business even showed up private on my caller ID.
Anyway, heard of scammers like that. They tell you there's a problem with your PC and then you give them remote access so they can fix it for a price.
Only there was no problem until you give them the access they need to download a problem, that you have to pay them to fix it for you. 
I hung up on him.  Should've played along and wasted his time.

Nothing!  Never sent no one any money. But I read that particular scam usually robs ppl of around $100 or less.

Omni-Tech tried that with me, Hi-jacked my computer they did. Only way I could get them off was to turn off computer and disengage internet....Then I had to find the program they loaded into my unit and have it removed...sleazy company

I did read, a good rule of thumb, if you get a call about your PC having issues. It's a scam. Legit companies don't do that. You gotta call them if you think something's up with your PC.

A lot of people who fall for these scams, "seem" to be intelligent. They may be book smart, but they have little common sense.

Ikr, the way they talk alone is a red flag. I tried to warn someone he was talking to a scammer on a dating site. I knew just from the way she was talking to him.
"Hello dear, or sweety... Very happy I found you, the one for me." She's talking like that after y'all just met.

I was talking abt scammers that comment on our pics that we haven't even posted or they're just invisible to some ppl. So that's how you know it's a scammer. When they're implying they've seen your pics that basically don't exist.

That's an "assumption" on your part.
Because someone says they can see your pic doesn't necessarily mean they are a scammer.
This is the internet, and if you have ever posted a pic of yourself, or anyone has posted one of you, anyone can view your photo on the internet.
The only way for your pic never to have been viewed online is to never have had a pic posted online.

Ikr, also the age-group they're looking for according to their profile, but you don't qualify... Hmm 
Maybe your profile impressed them so much, despite not having pics or anything written about yourself, that they decided to look outside their age group.
