TenSleep is not to far from where I grew up in northern wyo. It's about 20-24 miles NE of Worland. It's name actually came from being ten sleeps from some other destination. It's a small town; 300-400 people at the mouth of a pretty canyon with Buffalo on the other side of the mountain.

I liked Thermop. Visited often with my parents as a kid. Been fishing in the lake, top of Copper Mountain. Walked the bridge when it was still up and running. But, it is a small Wyo. town with little to do unless one is just visiting.
I live in Casper and am enjoying spring. Although fall is my favorite time of year.
Would love to hear back from you. Maybe bring daughter, son inlaw and three year old grand D for a swim soon.!!

It's amazing how many lonely people are out there, when there's a full website of people here willing to talk a while to stave off the long hours spent alone. Send out some emails people. You would be supprised how many people will have a nice conversation with you just for the sake of that conversation. Proactive is the key.

I can understand that. I too send out a bunch of emails with few replies, but that message was directed at those who sit around, being lonely, and complaining about it without ever even trying to generate a conversation. And yes, those are mostly women since it falls to us men to chase (by and large). Basically, I had read how so many people were so lonely, both men and women, and there are a great many of them that don't try to do anything about it.
No offense to those of you who are proactive.

That's ok, try being a Breast Cancer patient in a town where no body really wants to get involved (minus a tiny few) because of the ultimate possibilities... new to the town (moved here for treatment) and cabin fever has just about took it's toll on me. I am on so many sites, and because I am honest about my condition, everyone treats me like I have the plague! How's that for lonely???
